Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 7, 2026 · App: Bench Notes by Pangea Works

In short: Bench Notes keeps everything you record on your own phone. We don’t collect, receive, sell or share your personal data. The app has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

What the app stores, and where

Bench Notes stores what you enter so the app can work: your starters and feedings, bakes, recipes, notes, prices you add, photos you attach, and your settings. All of it is kept in the app’s private storage on your device. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else.

Photos

Photos are added only when you take or choose them. They are saved inside the app on your device and are not uploaded anywhere.

Backups

If you export a backup, Bench Notes creates a file on your device (for example in Documents/Bench Notes). You decide where that file goes and who can see it. Automatic backups, if you turn them on, are also saved only on your device.

Separately, if you have Android’s own backup switched on, Android may include the app’s data in the backup it keeps in your Google account. That backup is managed by Google under your account settings, and we have no access to it.

Sharing

When you use Share, Bench Notes creates the image on your device and hands it to the app you pick, such as a messaging or social app. What happens next is governed by that app’s own privacy policy.

Notifications and alarms

Reminders and alarms are scheduled on your device by the app. No information about them leaves your phone.

Network access

The Bench Notes Android app works entirely offline and does not send data over the internet.

This website

mybenchnotes.com has no accounts, forms, cookies or analytics. Its fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google’s servers when you visit; Google’s privacy policy applies to that request.

Purchases

If you buy Bench Notes Pro, the purchase is handled by Google Play. We receive only confirmation that Pro is active on your account; we never see your payment details. Google’s privacy policy applies to the purchase.

Children

Bench Notes is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual starters, feedings, bakes, recipes and photos in the app. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in your phone’s settings, removes everything it has stored. Any backup files you exported stay where you saved them until you delete them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
